Watch broadcasters' free live TV: add 29 official channels to Doubo

Doubo keeps a list of free live channels streamed by the broadcasters themselves: 29 news, documentary, kids and lifestyle channels, each from the broadcaster or its licensed free-TV partner. Here is how to add it on iPhone, iPad, Mac and the web.

What is in the list

The list is called Official broadcaster streams. It has 29 channels, grouped by category:

  • News: CCTV-1, CCTV-13, CGTN, RTHK 31, CNA, TVRI, TVRI World, NHK World-Japan, Arirang TV, DW English, Al Jazeera English, France 24 English, Bloomberg TV
  • Documentary: CGTN Documentary, CNA Originals, China Travel, Discovering China, BBC Earth, NatureTime, Love The Planet
  • Kids: Moonbug Kids, ZooMoo
  • Lifestyle: AsianCrush, Tastemade, Red Bull TV, Pet Club TV, Stingray Naturescape
  • Chinese: 大愛電視 DaAi TV, 原住民族電視台 Taiwan Indigenous TV

What gets in: each stream must come from the broadcaster itself or its licensed free-TV partner, and every address is checked by hand. Re-streams and channels that need a login or payment are left out.

Open the official broadcaster list

Add it on iPhone and iPad

  1. Open doubo.tv/lists in Safari.
  2. Find the “Official broadcaster streams” card and open it.
  3. Tap “Add to the Doubo app”. Safari asks whether to open Doubo; tap “Open”.

Viewing tips

  • Channels are grouped (news, documentary, kids, lifestyle, Chinese), so you can browse them by group in Doubo.
  • Star the channels you watch often to find them quickly next time.
  • Some channels only play in certain regions; if one does not open, try another or come back later.

FAQ

Are these channels free?

Yes. The list only includes free live streams that broadcasters, or their licensed free-TV partners such as Rakuten TV, Samsung TV Plus and Roku, publish themselves. There are no re-streams or paid channels. Doubo only links to the streams and hosts no video.

Why won't some channels play?

Some channels only play in certain countries or regions, and broadcasters sometimes change their stream addresses. The list is checked automatically every day and broken channels are replaced or removed. If one does not open, try another channel.

Does the list update itself?

Yes. Doubo saves the list's link, so refreshing the playlist or opening it again loads the current channels.

Can I use it in other players?

Yes. Copy the list link and paste it into any player that supports M3U.
